  • : I’m in my 80s and still struggling to find a way out to reduce my misery and sufferings. Being poor is seriously one of the biggest crimes, as its impacts remains till the last breath of one’s life. I have a son who is earning, but is also not willing to take care of his elderly father…

My daughter has no one to take care of her…

I live in one room apartment with my mentally retarded daughter, who is totally dependent on me as she cannot take care of herself. My wife died two years ago, so my daughter has no one else to take care of her than me. I want to do some work with which I’ll be able to earn some money for me and my daughter, but it is just out of question now for me. My one eye has left working and the other is growing week too, also my physical strength is declining with the passage of time. With such physical disorders, I’m unable to carry out any job that would earn me something. My son is fruit seller by profession and has a wife and three children to look after. Me and my daughter used to live with my son, but after he had some financial problems in his business, he asked me to leave my daughter in a mental hospital, but how can I ??

    I have to leave my son’s house…

I love my daughter a lot and I cannot leave her on the mercy of government hospital staff, who are least bothered about the pain and severity of a patient. Furthermore, she has cataract too, due to which she cannot even see properly, and leaving her alone can risk her life. My son did not understand this, and I have to leave his house with no way to go…

Sympathy Charity appeared as a glimpse of life…

One cannot imagine what I went through, with my daughter with me and no place to live and no source of earning. At this dark stage of my life, Sympathy Charity appeared as a glimpse of life for me and my family. They accepted my application for help and not only they supported me in my daily household expenses, but also carried out the operation of my daughter for her cataract illness. She is quite better now and also can see things much clearer after the operation went successful. I have simply no words to thanks the charity for providing me not one time but continuous help. Currently, I’m receiving Rs 5000/- monthly which includes 1500 for milk and dairy stuff, 1500for other grocery and ration paani and 2000 for my pocket money. With this money I can buy medicines for me and my daughter, and also save some to buy clothes once a while. I do not even remember when last I lived with such comfort and peace of mind, all thanks to the Sympathy Charity.

    Sympathy Note:

The Sympathy Charity is please to share the pleasure it has received by helping Yousuf Ali and his family in their difficult time. It would not have been possible without the selfless and generous support from our donors, who have taken complete financial responsibility of the aged man and his sick daughter. The charity is immensely glad after knowing that the sight of his daughter is better now after her operation. We wish Yousuf Ali and his entire family a healthy and content life, and like to share the thanks received with our munificent donors.
